LFW: Parade Your Fashion Icon!
Scary resemblance no?
We've got some smoking hot LalaLove Tees still available, but not for long! So be arrogant, tongue-in-cheek, or just plain silly and parade you favorite icon for LFW, from Auntie V Tee to a certain supermodel leg akimbo, Jeans Off. Hopefully you'll bump into one of them so casually, they'll think they're looking in a mirror...

The Alchemy of threeASFOUR
Last night I flew in especially to check out threeASFOUR, aka the only show in town worth all that trouble. The show, held at Milk Studios, was neatly choreographed with smoke machines and green laser beams everywhere from corner to corner and at times hitting on the models' shoes creating the glowing shoe illusion!
All girls came out at once, each represented an element - tin, silver, gold and so on; and that's how each outfit was based on. The shapes are very much threeASFOUR, but that extra oomph came from the sparkly work of tubular beads that create not just the patterns on the garments but also define the silhouettes within.
My favourite bit? The girl in the centre, "Gong Girl", Barbara di Creddo. She's the mix of all elements, including the gong! These were the short magical 10 minutes to die for. Well done threeASFOUR, we love you guys!

A Child of the Jago
Not quite the clothing store, but THE original Jago, Nick Jago. He has now returned to the loving embrace of SUPERSWEET land with his honest opinion of what's in and what's out. We even had time to take him up on the big wheel by the beach for a very L'Uomo Vogue style shoot!

Alexander McQueen - R.I.P in Fashion Heaven
It is with tremendous grief that SUPERSWEET writes an epitaph for one of the greatest designers of our times - Lee Alexander McQueen.
The notorious genius labelled "enfant terrible" and "the hooligan of English fashion" was found dead earlier today, Thursday February 11th, in his home on Green Street, London. A few of the papers are saying he hung himself, unable to cope with the death of his much loved mum, last Tuesday.
His Twitter page has mysteriously been removed, probably because it couldn't hack the hundreds of well-wishers from bombarding it with commiserations. His last tweets reported his ensuing grief:
'I'm letting my followers know the my mother passed away yesterday if it she had not me nor would you RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...
He then added: 'But life must go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
'Sunday evening been a ****ing awful week but my friends have been great but now i have to some how pull myself together and finish with the HELLS ANGLES & PROLIFIC DEAMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
So in true tweeting fashion we dedicate this epitaph to you...Mr McQueen, it's come to this. Wherever you are in fashion heaven, we commemorate your life, your work, your dedication and your infallible imagination that's inspired a lifetime's legacy and beyond. You rocked the boat and the boat rocked back. You'll be missed the world over.

VISUAL AID: How To Listen To Liars
Scratch an' hear?
I have no idea what kind of contraption Liars have created to present their upcoming release Sisterworld, but, we sure are excited at the SS HQ! I have a theory that it will involve a confusing dialogue of:
- "Cor, what's behind the gold door, is it a tardy rabbit, or could it be that man (you know, the one with ADHD, always wearing a hobo hat)?"
- "HOLY CRAP, a CD floated out...while I'm holding onto the case...what is this magic?!"
- "Wow-za. free blow! Oh wait, its some kind of Styrofoam bumpies..."
- "Yeah, titty-show!"
