But is it wrong to look like an aging Norwegian lady, who is a cigar-shmoking, nine-fingered, witch hunter? No? Fine, just me then.

Let's start with the best one, I know it's only the beginning of the month but it looks like this could be the best thing anyone will get to see in the next 28 days already! Phantogram, SUPERSWEET's favourite new band, with their new single 'Mouthful of Diamonds' (hmmm.... wouldn't that be nice?) - their video is just so alien-like I wanted to cry when I first saw it. I once went to an amazing gig where someone in the crowd kept yelling, "Seriously, how did you do that?" to the band. And I was like... what a thing to be shouting out. But now I'm going through the same motion... How did Phantogram do that? It's so good, so beautiful, powerful and mysteriously seductive! I'm in love right now. BRAVO!
And now let's skip all the way to the worst one. Just likeEric Prydz's 'Call On Me', Grum's 'Can't Shake This Feeling' is another interpretation of the infamous and attention-seeking (but works every time) "sex sells" method. However, before you think I'm torturing our office cat with a facelift. It's only because Michael got too squeamish to watch and I've had to force her. How demeaning can this get? Surely even Terry Richardson would disapprove!

Last year the "sarf" London quintet won SS's MySpace New Bands contest and finally, they've returned! Picked up by XFM's John Kennedy to play his The Remedy night at hidden gem, Tooting Tram & Social, we're glad to see the band have returned from their gallivanting to unveil more mischievous directions, they're even working with a new synth player, Dan Thompson. Check out one of the band's new track, 'Slow', played in a park!
If of Montreal's collaboration with Solange Knowles wasn't weird enough, watching the middle-aged hipster actress Susan Sarandon get her jollies from spanking of Montreals' performing pigs surely takes the biscuit. In the past year we've seen Patrick Woolf get anecdotal with Tilda Swinton, and now the Georgian band take to the stage with the ruler punishing Sarandon.
So who on earth could be next? Hot Chip and Helen Bonham Carter? Joanna Newsom and Cate Blanchett? FUCKED UP and Jeff Bridges? Actually that would be pretty sweet....

Granted my acting consisted of sitting on a couch for five hours, refusing the fake weed rolly's because I would only embarrass myself with my squinted eyes-mouth-I-don't-smoke look and gawking at Andy Serkis unprofessionally hoping he would splutter out "Gollum, Gollum". And the highlight of this experience? A definite flirty compliment from the supporting actor: "You had really pretty hair before...now you look like you've stuck your finger in a socket" What. A. Charmer.
So if you see a really narky punk girl shouting at the said support actor for standing in front of a viewing of Spartacus, please feel free to boo and hiss.
Much to my better judgement, I really like Arctic Monkey’s third album; maybe after hearing ‘Crying Lighting’ possibly every time I get into the car, I can’t keep away from listening to their bitter hooks and morbid twangs, and so with full force, I readily curse the power of radio to brainwash these feelings into my mind.
Yet, while I come to grips with my enjoyment of their latest release, Humbug, what do I see pop up in my inbox, but a androgynous video of Alex Turner, in a karaoke performance pose for single 'Cornerstone' scarily looking like a pre-pubescent boy.
So I want you all to look into the peepers of crazy-eyes Turner, see the spine-chilling emptiness, and please explain to me how this fits this beautifully written song?!
